To get started, create a new actor in the unreal editor. To do this, go to your content browser, and when go to somewhere where you want to store the moving platform. Once you are there, right click and press new blueprint class, and then select actor. You can name the actor whatever you want, but note that this actor is what your moving platform will be.
Open the new actor. For this example, use a cube as your mesh. Open the event graph. On event begin play, create and set a variable for the initial location of the actor.
